With the Covid-19 outbreak, the whole world is forced to social distance, isolate and cancel or reschedule their major events. When it comes to shifting an entire wedding planned in Phuket, Thailand to an intimate wedding in Mangalore, oh boy we are sure it must have been a hell of a task. And that too just 7 days before the scheduled wedding. While we’ve seen couples being sceptical about postponing their wedding but our today’s couple Akanksha and Mikhail were very clear that, “the show must go on” and it did fantastically well with the help of their wedding planners, Castle & Coasters. In just 3 days they researched and managed to book their wedding venue and other vendors as well.
By going through their colourful and playful pictures one cannot imagine how quickly and perfectly all this was planned. Kudos to this couple who will now inspire a lot of couples out there who have had to postpone their weddings.
Take Inspirations From This Dreamy Multicultural Intimate Wedding In Mangalore–
1. Pool Side Mehendi Party
The couple wanted to have a poolside mehendi ceremony. They wanted their guests to have a fun and memorable time. The mehendi decor in pastel hues and long drapes around the palm trees is so elegant.
Games are always a good idea!
Have a look at these interesting wedding games to make your wedding fun.
Just like their quirky couple shot they kept their mehendi outfits also colourful. Akanksha wore a co-ord floral crop top and palazzo pants set whereas Mikhail was seen wearing a floral printed shirt with shorts, a simple and carefree look.
We like how this bride opted for a huge pendant necklace as her mehendi jewellery and a baby breath tiara for her hair.
2. Sangeet Ceremony
And it was their Sangeet when they decided to live the party and dance their hearts out. They wanted a gala event.
We absolutely loved this entrance decor for the sangeet.
Let’s Nacho!
Electric guitar for an electrifying couple dance performance.
The couple went all black for their sangeet look. Mikhail wore a plain jet black bandhgala kurta whereas Akanksha wore a stunning floral embroidered black lehenga with an off shoulder blouse.
3. Regal Hindu Wedding
The couple had two weddings, the first one was the Hindu wedding in Mangalore and we couldn’t take our eyes off these refreshing pictures from their wedding day.
Their intimate mandap decor and the wedding decor was breathtaking with flowers and palm trees all around.
Mikhail stunned us with his look in a blush pink bandhgala sherwani and his floral safa adds the classic appeal.
For baraat the groom made his entry on a quad bike isn’t that an amazing idea?
These groomsmen kept it subtle with their pastel outfits and coordinated ivory wedding safas.
And the bride made an iconic bridal entry, as she sailed towards new and happy beginnings.
Time for the pheras and the candid shots of the couple.
We are swooning over these artistic couple portraits where the bride wore an ivory bridal lehenga with pastel embroidered hues.
Time to say goodbye!
4. Dreamy White Wedding
Beaches and Christian Weddings give birth to magical weddings.
Beach at the back, white drapes and foliage, all things beautiful.
Well Nick Jonas inspired a lot of grooms and this picture definitely touched our hearts. We were also impressed with the groom’s choice of tuxedo, bow tie and that brooch is not to be missed.
Don’t miss out on some filmy groom entry ideas.
Time for the wedding vows.
Akanksha looked like a fairy for her white wedding in a lovely slit white bridal gown.
Thinking from where to buy Christian wedding gowns in India?
We love it when bridesmaids and groomsmen coordinate so well.
Don’t you love those floral tiaras matching with wedding bouquets?
The one with the bride and groom!
And your first dance shot completes your wedding album.
The couple thanked their guests for attending their wedding on such a short notice and for blessing them.
For Akanksha and Mikhail everything was set in Phuket from their cards to venues to caterers but in life fate always has other plans and sometimes they can turn into an unforgettable celebration of a lifetime. We absolutely loved this intimate wedding in Mangalore and we hope you also loved it.
