A hill station wedding is a dreamy experience with majestic green trees, breathtaking mountains and stunning views. The whole landscape becomes a part of your larger than life celebrations. Our today’s couple Aakriti and Prateek got married amongst the picturesque hills of Uttarakhand. Their hill station wedding in Uttarakhand spoke volumes about the couple and their love for outdoors. Their wedding decor was inspired by the scenic beauty of orchards and the mesmerizing forest. They met through work back in 2013 and slowly and steadily became a couple. Their wedding proposal was a comedy of errors where he took her to Song Saa island on her birthday. The proposal costed them one injured knee, an almost capsizing boat, 2 drowned phones and a nosebleed to get that ring on her finger.

4. Vidaai Ceremony
Aakriti always wanted a romantic boat ride so for her vidaai ceremony she was given a farewell on a boat.
She was very clear that she didn’t want rice for her bidai because that clearly leads to wastage. So rice got replaced with flower petals, all of which were repurposed from the wedding. How thoughtful is that!
We wish Aakriti and Prateek a very happy and blissful married life ahead. Their hill station wedding in Uttarakhand with surreal sustainable decor will surely be an inspiration for a lot of couples out there.
