With decor ideas taking a fresh turn every season, more and more brides and grooms are looking for innovative and offbeat styles. Being able to deliver something new every season isn’t everyone’s forte but we know one particular brand that takes this very seriously. Rani Pink, founded by Anika Dhawan, Akshay Gupta and Abhinav Mishra, stands for their outlandish use of Indian elements that combines with western influences to give the new age bride and groom a unique flavour. A look that leaves an impressionable mark on our dream wedding journals. We cannot help but share their latest contribution in decor to the Indian weddings.
Here are three amazing looks for the Sangeet, Mehendi and the Wedding.
The theme ‘Nargis’ resonates with sublime beauty that should adorn your wedding day celebrations. The perfect mogras decorated in a cascading manner, the mirrored tiled vases and the blush peach hues that sit on the sofas are in focus. The most highlighting element is the woven gota that resembles the vintage woven jute chairs. Silver foiled prints analogous to a banarasi weave called Shikargah are placed on the wall to give it a Shahi vibe.

For the fun Sangeet, ‘The Mughal Circus’ seems well-suited. An eccentric touch to the most exciting event at the wedding, you’ll find yourself surrounded in a large geometric red and white striped polo tent, resonating well with the divas from the Shah Jahan era who’d love to walk into a lively carnival. The portrayal of a circus amalgamated with tiny elements that remind us of our childhood memories. The beautiful hues of nautical blue, blazing red, whites and the brightest yellows are everything that make an event more spirited. This one was our personal favorite.
Mehendi has always been the most cherished function – full of laughter, joy and bright colors. The ‘Pink Pineapple’ theme is part whimsical, part a gentle reminder of a quintessential candy store. Flamingoes, neon sequins, colloquial chalkboards, shiny fringes, fluorescent ribbons and of course, pop colored pineapples. Imagine being dressed in the jazziest outfits and stepping into this splashy zone. We’ve even got our outfits in order – Hot Pink, Hot Lime, hot everything. All set for the drama and the vivid photography.
