Aashna Singh, the demiurgic founder and director of Aash Studio, recently had her whimsical engagement ceremony at the stately and commodious The Clearing House, in Ballard Estate, Mumbai.
The wedding planner for Aash Studio, who always makes sure that the other couple gets the most dreamiest decor at their wedding, of course had to plan something offbeat for her own engagement. She’s known to envision and organising fascinating arrangements while incorporating the couple’s story with interesting themes at the weddings.
Her long time beau Sheekher proposed to her recently and she planned a ceremony that had all the personal touches which included all things dear to the couple.
For her own ceremony the lit teddy bear was the centrepiece of the evening as the charm meant a lot to Aashna, which also marked the proposal. The 30 KG gold metal teddy bear was the highlight of the entire night. Another charm that also represents their love for travel is the bracelet he gifted her once.
The theme was titled “Love is in the air” and the decor quite literally portrayed it. Everything was toned down but the prominent elements were added where needed. The focus was totally on Aashna and her blends of fun and prominent things in decor like the metal letters that was a personal hashtag of the couple #AASHSHEE, which was places at the DJ console.
The mixture of decor and entertainment and the confetti bags and bubbles reminded us of our childhood fantasies. The guests were taken on the nostalgia ride with the disposable cameras, something to enjoy as well as to seize the special memories of the night.
The molecular bar was another hit at the party that served the customised couple’s favorite drinks and shots ranging from jaëger bubbles to vodka caviars.
