Wedding Pooja
Traditionally, a South Indian wedding begins with a pooja ceremony. It is an intimate ceremony where only the close family members are present. Soundarya Rajinikanth kept her look very simple for the pooja. She wore a blue and orange Kanjeevaram saree. Further, she opted for a subtle makeup with a blue bindi. Her makeup artist, Prakruthi Ananth used Huda Beauty and Anastasia Beverly Hills products to create this look. She carried a neatly tied bun and accessorized it with gajras. Wasn’t she looking all ravishing in her traditional temple jewellery?

Mehendi Ceremony
Soundarya Rajinikanth’s mehendi ceremony was a very emotional moment for the family. As she got all set to become a bride again, she couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the love showered on her by her family, especially her son. The event began in the morning with brimming smiles. Soundarya looked beautiful in a light blue lehenga with colourful floral threadwork. She kept her makeup really simple and the highlight was her pink lipstick which complemented the pink work on her lehenga. We loved her jewellery, especially her chaandbalis.
Maspillai Azhapu
Maspillai Azhapu is a south Indian wedding ritual which is none other than an engagement ceremony. Soundarya Rajinikanth’s engagement look made our hearts skip a beat. The dewy base and soft smokey eyes highlighted her features. She opted for fishtail braid for the occasion and accessorized it with a lot of roses and other flowers. Her silk saree in the shades of magenta pink was further complemented with Meenakari jewellery set. We loved her choice of maangtika and chaandbalis as well. Her entire look was beautifully colour-coordinated and we just can’t stop admiring her!
Wedding Muhurtham
Soundarya Rajinikanth looked a complete stunner at her wedding. It was a joyous occasion for the entire family. The bride wore a heavily embellished Kanjeevaram saree, designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The light pink saree with a prominent stripe of hot pink looked great on her. Unlike other South Indian brides, Soundarya chose diamonds as the part of her wedding jewellery and not just gold. Her dual diamond necklaces with an emerald centrepiece complemented the creation of Abu-Jani Khosla. Like a true South Indian bride, she did not forget to put colourful gajras in her long and luscious braid.
Wedding Reception
After a beautiful wedding ceremony, the newly married couple hosted their wedding reception. The event was attended by the various VIPs from Tamil Nadu. From Ambanis and actors from Bollywood and Tamil film industry, everyone came to bless the newlyweds. On her wedding reception, Soundarya wore a stunning red lehenga by Sabyasachi. Also, Soundarya wore a breathtaking gold choker, earrings and maangtikka from Sabyasachi’s heritage collection. She further opted for black smokey eyes and a pink lipstick instead of a red one. Isn’t she goals for all the brides-to-be?!
Soundarya Rajinikanth was earlier married to Ashwin Kumar but got divorced in 2017. She recently got married again to Vishagan Vanangamudi and their wedding celebration was a grand one. We are sure you are as impressed as we are with each of her wedding looks.
