The annual FDCI (Fashion Design Council Of India) India Couture Week (ICW) kickstarted with a bang as usual and this year we spotted some amazing celebrity showstoppers dazzling the ramp. The ICW was held in Delhi from July 25, 2023 and went on for 9 days till August 2, 2023. Various designers showcased their magnificent collection and gave inspiration for some amazing styles that we are sure to spot this season. India Couture Week 2023 Day 1: Kiara Advani For Falguni Shane Peacock
Kiara Advani turned showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock at their FDCI’s ICW show. She brought Desi Barbie magic in hot pink attire. The shimmer two-piece had a thigh-high slit which she styled with holographic high heels and looked stunning!
India Couture Week 2023 Day 2: Aditi Rao Hydari For Ritu Kumar
On the second day of ICW 2023, renowned fashion designer Ritu Kumar took to the stage and wowed everyone with her magical fashion creations. The gorgeous Aditi Rao Hydari graced the runway as the showstopper and truly looked like a dream in an enchanting ivory ensemble that featured a jacket-style blouse with full sleeves, featuring a V-neckline and a double collar. Her blouse, adorned with intricate handwork and heavy embroidery, had mirror detailing and was a perfect example of outstanding craftsmanship.

Bhumi Pednekar For Varun Bahl
Varun Bahl’s ‘Inner Bloom’ collection was nothing short of a mesmerising display of majestic designs, modern aesthetic and vibrant display of colors. Bhumi Pednekar was the celebrity showstopper who dazzled in a stunning golden ensemble that was a total head-turner. The figure-hugging silhouette of the skirt, boasting of a thigh-high slit and a dramatic floor-sweeping train, perfectly accentuated her envious frame. It was totally swathed in floral-inspired motifs and applique patchwork.
Janhvi Kapoor For Gaurav Gupta Couture
The second highlight of the day was Janhvi Kapoor radiating in a glittery electric blue lehenga that stole our hearts. This stunning outfit from designer Gaurav Gupta’s Hiranyagarbha collection featured a bralette-style blue with thin stripes and a plunging neckline paired with a free-flowing skirt with intricate sequin work all over.
India Couture Week 2023 Day 4: Ranbir Kapoor For Kunal Rawal
Ranbir Kapoor, the Bollywood heartthrob made heads turn as he walked the ramp as a showstopper for Kunal Rawal’s collection ‘Dhup Chao’ at the India Couture Week. Ranbir donned a blue sequinned bandhgala with silver buttons which he paired it with black lungi-esque that added an oomph factor to his look.
India Couture Week 2023 Day 5: Sobhita Dhulipala & Ishaan Khatter For Rohit Gandhi & Rohit Khanna
Sobhita Dhulipala and Ishaan Khattar turned showstoppers for fashion designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna at the ICW 2023.
Sobhita Dhulipala dazzled in a modern silver lehenga from the collection that featured a strappy blouse adorned with sequins, a matching skirt with intricate embellishments on a sheer overlay, and a thigh-high slit. She paired this with strappy heels and stacked bracelets, while her sleek hairdo and glossy makeup added to her radiant appearance.
While Ishaan exuded charm in a tailored black blazer with shimmering embroidery over his bare chest, paired with satin pants featuring a straight-leg fit. His look was accessorized with a sequined black necktie and embellished loafers.

Ananya Pandey For Rimzim Dadu
Rimzim Dadu, known for her avant-garde designs, showcased her metier in creating sculptural silhouettes and exploring unconventional textures. Ananya Pandey turned the designer’s showstopper and looked sizzling! Her outfit featured a molten gold leaf bustier top like the rest and an asymmetric skirt with a thigh-high slit.
Athiya Shetty For Anamika Khanna
Anamika Khanna showcased her magnificent collection that celebrated Indian craftsmanship and was an amalgam of modernity and ethnic accents. Athiya Shetty walked as her showstopper and the diva exuded oomph in a heavily-embellished ivory gown with a jacket-inspired silhouette, all swathed in the designer’s signature patchwork, floral motifs and tone-on-tone embroidery.

Disha Patani For Dolly J
Disha Patani walked the ramp for ace couturier Dolly J and left everyone stunned! She was dressed in a silver outfit featuring a bralette with a plunging neckline and sequins all over. It was paired with a matching mermaid skirt featuring a sexy thigh-high side slit.
Sara Ali Khan & Aditya Roy Kapoor For Shantanu & Nikhil
Shantnu & Nikhil presented their collection ‘Etheria’, in collaboration with Pearl Academy. Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapoor turned celebrity showstoppers for the duo designers.
Sara looked resplendent in a cream-hued lehenga with patterned ivory embellishments throughout, paired with a shimmery bustier choli. It was styled with a sheer cape dupatta that doubled as a sweeping train. Keeping her accessories to a minimum, she opted for diamond drop earrings.
While Aditya kept it dapper in an ivory sherwani set with zardozi collar, delicate thread work, intricate sequins, and a geometric pattern on a raw silk base. He complemented the ensemble with loose silk pants and matching juttis.

Vaani Kapoor dazzled in a blood-red chikankari lehenga for Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, who made her runway debut at India Couture Week. This scarlet-hued chikankari lehenga with a deep V-neck bralette and gorgeous floral lace details was drool-worthy! Vaani complemented her look with a dazzling diamond necklace that contrasted her green emeralds and diamonds.

Shraddha Kapoor stole the spotlight as she graced the ramp on the ninth day of the prestigious fashion week. Walking the ramp for the talented couturier Rahul Mishra, Shraddha looked nothing less than stunning in an enchanting ethnic ensemble. She adorned a silver sequined bralette featuring a plunging neckline with delicate floral details in shades of pink. Paired with a matching flowy and long skirt, the ensemble exuded an aura of grace and elegance.
