Swara Bhaskar recently got married in a court marriage with activist Fahad Ahmad. The two had registered their marriage in court on January 6, 2023 under the Special Marriage Act and announced the news on February 16, 2023. Swara Bhaskar & Fahad Ahmad have now kickstarted their wedding festivities for a traditional wedding and the pictures of their haldi and mehendi are making rounds on the social media.

Swara Ki Holi-Wali Haldi

After having a court marriage, Swara Bhaskar & Fahad Ahmad are now having a full-fledged big-fat Indian traditional wedding inviting the close friends and family of the couple.

On March 12, 2023 the duo held a fabulous haldi ceremony which turned into a fun Holi. Swara Bhaskar shared a few pictures and captioned it with “A Haldi ceremony that turned into Holi! Welcome to the festivities. #SwaadAnusaar has begun!” The happy couple smeared in haldi and gulaal, as well as the guests enjoying the Haldi ceremony.

Swara And Fahad’s Mehendi Pictures

After the fun Holi-wali haldi, Swara’s mehendi pictures stole our hearts. The actress was seen donning a stunning orange ethnic wear which she styled with a maangtika, cocktail ring and dangler earrings. Swara & Fahad were seen posing as Swara got her mehendi done. The glow and joy on Swara and Fahad’s face is unmissable!

Swara Decked Up As A Telugu Bride At The Carnatic Vocal Recital

For her sangeet, Swara Bhaskar held a stunning Carnatic vocal recital by Sudha Raghuraman. It is believed, along with the Carnatic music performance, Qawwali performances were held too. Swara opted to channel her Telugu bridal look for the Carnatic vocal recital and looked ravishing.

Dressed as a Telugu bride, Swara was seen wearing a red and golden brocade saree by Raw Mango, and accessorized with a nose ring, matha patti, necklace, earrings and other traditional jewellery. While the groom Fahad can be seen wearing a simple golden nehru jacket over white kurta. Sharing the pictures Swara wrote, “Channelling Telugu brides!”
