One of the most loved power couples from the Tollywood industry, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are now married! The couple tied the knot on June 9, 2022 at Four Points by Sheraton, Mahabalipuram. This intimate wedding was witnessed by the couple’s family and close friends. Nayanthara met director Vignesh Shivan on the film set back in 2015 and after 7 years of dating, the couple are now married.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had an n intimate wedding ceremony at Mahabalipuram. The couple originally planned on getting married at Tirupati temple, but due to logistics issues that couldn’t happen. The actor and director revealed that their wedding will be a private affair with only family members and close friends in attendance.

Hours before the wedding, Vignesh dedicated the wedding day to his bride Nayanthara. He took his Instagram and captioned it –

However, the couple did visit the Tirupati temple two days prior to their wedding and Nayanthara shared a picture of the same.

Their 7-year-old long relationship was no less than a modern-day fairytale and their fans couldn’t keep calm to finally see them as husband and wife. Nayanthara looked beautiful decked up in a custom-made and handcrafted saree in JADE by MK’s signature Vermillion Red. The saree featured tone on tone embroidery is inspired by the carvings of the temples of Hoysala with Goddess Lakshmi motifs as bajubandh on the sleeves of the blouse. She paired it with multi-layered heavy emerald and diamond jewellery. while Vignesh wore pastel and ivory-hued veshti, kurta and shawl handcrafted by the master craftsmen of JADE atelier.
