Small & Elegant Farmhouse Punjabi Wedding In Khopoli, Mumbai

Mehak and Viren had a beautiful farmhouse Punjabi wedding at their family estate in Khopoli, Mumbai. They had initially planned to have a beachside wedding in Goa. But owing to the pandemic, they decided to stick with Mumbai. Despite having to reschedule their wedding venue, dates, and other plans, both Mehak & Viren were happy to share the experience with their close family and friends. They finally decided to celebrate their other functions at Novotel Imagica and the Anand Karaj ceremony at the farmhouse in Mumbai.

Mehak was introduced to Viren through their common friend while she was pursuing her Master’s. She had come to India during the holidays and met Viren at the end of her trip. Soon after, they confessed their feelings for each other and it was time for her to return to London for her studies. And Viren assured her that he’ll be waiting for her when she returns. They continued their long-distance relationship for a while until Mehak returned to India. And after 5 long years, they were ready to take the next big step in their life together.

1. Kickstarting The Celebrations With Mehendi

The two-day-long wedding festivities started with a fun-filled mehendi ceremony. The ceremony took place at Novotel Imagica with bright and vibrant decor. Mehak wanted to wear a bright outfit for her mehndi and opted for a yellow fusion lehenga. She purchased a Banarasi lehenga set from Bageecha Banaras over a video call. She even customized her blouse to add the fusion element to her outfit. And accessorized the look with bright and colorful jewelry from Bauble Bazaar. She sure did look like a beautiful bubbly bride. And Viren wore a red and ochre-colored bandi set.

2. Sangeet And Ring Ceremony

In the evening, they followed up with a ring and sangeet ceremony at the Novotel Imagica. Viren looked dashing in his navy blue Kunal Rawal sherwani. And on the other hand, Mehak dazzled in shimmery gold Abhinav Mishra lehenga. The gold mirror-work lehenga was surely a great choice for a fun evening night.

5. Reception Night
