Indian weddings, as we all know, are a week-long celebration. Every pre and post-wedding event is an excuse to dress up and have oodles of fun. And that’s what Geetika and Ghanant’s wedding functions in Delhi were all about. The colorful Mehendi function was surely one of the highlight events from their wedding celebrations. The burst of colors in decor, photography, and outfits were awe-inspiring. And we’re a little jealous for missing out on all the fun.
Interestingly enough, Geetika and Ghanant’s love story started on Valentine’s Day at Geetika’s cousin’s wedding. Their connection was instant, and both of them spent the night dancing and talking at the wedding. After the wedding, these two lovebirds returned to Delhi and went on their first date. But soon the pandemic hit, and the world went under lockdown. After staying in touch via WhatsApp and video calls, they both finally reunited on Geetika’s birthday in May. And 3 months later, they had a private Roka ceremony at Ghanant’s home. When the lockdown ended, the duo started planning their wedding and sealed a date in December 2020. The venue decided for the wedding was Jaibagh Palace in Jaipur. However, they had to postpone their wedding when Geetika’s parents and Ghanant’s father contracted COVID-19. A year later, life came full circle for them as they got married on Valentine’s Day in 2021. Now, isn’t that magical?
