Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding was one hell of an affair and also a big source of inspiration for couples who are planning a small and intimate wedding amidst this pandemic. She tied the knot with Mumbai based businessman, Gautam Kitchlu. Kajal Aggarwal truly left us spellbound with her bridal outfits and huge and unique kalire, but what really caught our attention was Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding decor.
The A-Cube Project came on board for Kajal’s wedding decor and they stated it as a “universal miracle”. They kept the wedding decor soft, subtle and elegant by opting for a pastel colour palette.
Let’s take you through Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding decor for you to take some inspiration-
1. Celebrating Roots and Traditions
Brijwasi Baagh Ceremony
Their families are devotees of Lord Krishna. They took inspiration from Radha and Krishna by keeping their small idols and paintings around and a floral tree in the backdrop with brass bells added more serenity.

Shikara- The Voyage of Love
Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding decor was inspired by Gautam’s Kashmiri heritage. The wedding event was called ‘Shikara- The Voyage of Love’ as the new beginning for the couple. They used the windows of the popular houseboats found in Dal Lake and framed Pashmina embroidery prints within and all we can say is that it was swoon worthy and tops our chart of wedding decor.
The sides were decorated with flowers that were inspired from floating flower markets of Kashmir. They had a pyramid shaped mandap.

2. Kajal Aggarwal Wedding Decor- A Tribute to Craftsmanship
A Kitsch Mandi was set up during the wedding as a tribute to the artisans of India. They had a contraption used by coconut climbers called ‘pettis’ in the background and got it directly from the farmers. The background was the limelight of Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding decor as it was so boho and offbeat and clearly symbolized their support to the farmers of India.
Considering Kajal’s South Indian roots they had a French Bistro vibe of Souffle S’il Vous Plait to resemble Chettinad architecture and it was truly breathtaking!
