Amit Aggarwal showcased his new and bold stellar collection at the opening of FDCI India Couture Week 2019 with Kiara Advani being his show stopper. Can’t think of a better start to this glamorous fashion show. His newest collection uses a range of hand-made, three-dimensional embroideries in various angles and bio-mimicked forms and motifs to give the fabric a unique visual and tactile quality with exquisite textiles. 

While Kiara stunned in the sassy red lehenga with hints of metallic touch, we couldn’t take our eyes off his other designs which are perfect for bridesmaids courtesy their stylish cutouts and bold metallic texture. Suneet Varma recreated traditional bridal wear collection with detailed and intricate embroidered work on these lehengas and gowns showcased on the ramp. Gorgeous Shimmers, Nudes And Pinks By Pankaj & Nidhi

Pankaj & Nidhi nailed it on their debut presentation at India Couture Week 2019. This first couture collection, titled “Mosaiq” was all about contemporary vibes. The art form of Mosaic is highlighted with handwoven appliqué details and inlay work. Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari looked jaw-droppingly stunning as she walked down the ramp as the show-stopper for the designer duo. 

We spotted tons of eye-pleasing nudes and pinks with the hint of shimmers which will surely glam up sangeet and cocktail night for brides and her bridesmaids. Looks like you can never go wrong with pinks and shimmers!

Floral Fantasy By Rahul Mishra

Ace designer Rahul Mishra’s couture collection at India Couture Week 2019 was all about an interesting mix of architectural elements infused with floral detailings. This collection titled “Malhausi to Monaco” gave us some dreamy wedding outfit inspirations with signature embroidery, floral motifs and breezy silhouettes. With two and three-dimensional hand-embroidered surfaces with crystals and silken threads, his latest designs imitate the lush greenery of rich forests and lakes from Monaco.
