Politician and Former Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel’s daughter Poorna Patel recently got married to industrialist Namit Soni, Managing Director of Namco Industries. And, it was one star-studded affair, with likes of Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Sachin Tendulkar attending this big fat Indian wedding, in Mumbai. The wedding has been breaking the internet ever since and all social media feeds are trending with this grand wedding. The couple tied the knot in absolute grandeur on July 21, 2018.

The pre-wedding celebrations kicked off at Ceejay House (Worli) owned by Praful Patel’s family. The wedding celebrations were hosted at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, the Grand Hyatt Mumbai and the Dome @ NSCI. Check out the entire wedding album of the newlyweds:

The grand wedding of #poornabanisoni kick-started with the Mehendi and sangeet ceremony, with a stellar performance by Guru Randhawa. The decor for the Mehendi ceremony was done by The Wedding Design Company, with Manish Malhotra as the creative designer.

For the Mehendi ceremony, Poorna Patel opted for an ivory lehenga by Manish Malhotra. It has flower motifs made of thread work and embellishments all over. The ensemble took 3 months to get the flawless trail says the ace designer in an Instagram post

Wedding at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

For the wedding day, Poorna wore a custom-made offwhite lehenga by Manish Malhotra. The lehenga is made of fabric soft pink flowers with light silver zardosi embroidery of leaves. The trail has names of Poona and Namit embroidered with beautiful shlokas which took more than 3 months to come in shape. And, we just can’t keep our eyes off this pretty ensemble.

The wedding celebrations ended with a grand finale reception. Everyone from the film fraternity came to bless the newly married. Poorna Patel and Namit Soni were seen wearing Manish Malhotra’s custom-made ensemble. Poorna looked gorgeous in glittery golden saree, which she accessorized with a set of diamond earrings and necklace. The suave groom, Namit wore a black bandhgala for the night.

Poorna’s best friend Sakshi Singh Dhoni looked stunning in grey plunging neck blouse with the long flared skirt. And, Dhoni wore a white bandhgala. But, we couldn’t keep our eyes off from baby Ziva.

Sonakshi Sinha wore a lime sharara for the occasion.

Katrina Kaif wore a sky blue lehenga with minimal jewelry and completed the look with bindi.

Sophie Chaudhary was slaying at the reception in silver saree with off shoulder blouse.

Neha Dhupia came with husband Angad Bedi and looked stunning together. Neha wore raw mango and Angad opted for Shantanu & Nikhil.
