#Sonamkishaadi was indeed a carnival not only for the Bollywood industry, but even for her fans as well. She married her long time beau Anand Ahuja in a Sikh wedding ceremony on 8th May. And, the wedding was attended by many of her close friends from the industry. All her fans were excited to know which designer will she wear at her wedding? How will she look at the d-day? But, as the day came closer Sonam’s bridal pictures and her wedding album went viral. And, now that the wedding ceremony is over, it’s time we talk about the star-studded reception.
Sonam Kapoor’s reception was hosted at The Leela in Mumbai on 8th May post the wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony observed very few celebrities, but her reception was certainly a star-studded affair.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja opted for Anamika Khanna. Whereas, the groom decided to wear bandhgala from Raghavendra Rathore’s collection. What we liked about her ensemble was, she ditched the blingy outfits and went for something elegant. The offbeat thing about Anand’s ensemble was his pair of Nike sneakers.

The Celebrity Guests
Bollywood’s King Khan came along with his wife Gauri Khan at the reception. Gauri Khan wore Tarun Tahiliani’s collection, an ombre jacket which had a jewelled neckline. The couple was complimenting each other perfectly.
And, you must see how Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan rocked the reception night. Both were seen dancing on a song from Karan Arjun with Sonam’s mother Sangeet Kapoor.

Kareena Kapoor Khan attended the reception with husband Saif Ali Khan and unfortunately we couldn’t find the cute Khan baby (Taimur) with them. But, we must say mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan was slaying in her golden saree from Manish Malhotra collection.

The Caste of Veere Di Wedding
Sonam’s close friend Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania decided to wear Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla collection at their veere’s reception. Swara’s black and golden ensemble with umbrella sleeved blouse was a perfect pick for the reception. And, Shikha’s lemon dress with mirror work was another stunning dress last night.

The Yash Raj Heroines
Madhuri Dixit, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee were also at the reception last night. Madhuri Dixit came along with husband Sriram Madhav Nene and wore an embroidered off-white attire by Manish Malhotra. Even Kajol opted for a grey striped saree by Manish Malhotra. Whereas, Rani Mukherjee was looking as graceful as always in a golden Sabyasachi lehenga.

Post-grand engagement bash of Isha Ambani at Antilia, the Ambani family came to congratulate the couple last night. Mukesh Ambani with wife Nita Ambani and son Akash Ambani came along with fiancé Shloka Mehta. The beautiful ladies Nita and Shloka looked gorgeous in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla collection.
Aishwarya, Abhishek and sister Shweta also came to congratulate the couple. The very beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore Manish Malhotra and Shweta Bachchan looked astonishing in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla collection. Her tube blouse with embroidered work lehenga was a bit unique out of all.

Talking about the gorgeous Kapoor sisters, Khushi and Jhanvi, both opted for their favourite designer Manish Malhotra and looked stunning. Undoubtedly the prettiest bridesmaids of the film industry.
Masaba Gupta a stylist herself wore a saree from her own collection which was quite out of the box. Her sports bra inspired blouse is something only she can carry with confidence.
Sonam’s close friend Tanya Ghavri is a celebrity stylist but grabbed many eyeballs in her Manish Malhotra mauve color net lehenga with a plunging neck blouse.
The loving couple of the Bollywood industry, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were also part of this starry reception night. And, Twinkle Khanna chose to wear a white shimmer suit which called Asal by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra attended the reception with hubby Karan Kundra. She was looking ravishing in stardust ice blue draped saree from Tarun Tahiliani collection.
Athiya Shetty was spotted wearing an embroidered off white lehenga from Rahul Mishra. She attended the occasion with parents Sunil Shetty and Mana Shetty.
The young and beautiful Alia Bhatt was seen attending the reception with her Ranbir Kapoor. Alia chose to wear a fluorescent green lehenga by Sabyasachi. And, Ranbir Kapoor opted for Manish Malhotra label. A white smart cut bandhgala with black trousers.
Katrina and Isabel were also spotted wearing Manish Malhotra at Sonam’s reception.
Manish Malhotra designed a white modern yet traditional saree with a unique style of the blouse for Karishma Kapoor and no doubt she rocked the look.
Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Kirron Kher and Rashmi Thackeray chose to wear Kanjeevaram saree by Gaurang Shah at the reception.
Antara Marwah came with husband Mohit Marwah and she was looking phenomenal in Falguni Shane Peacock.
The young and beautiful director Divya Khosla Kumar also attended the reception. She wore Anju Modi design and looked elegant as always.
