May 7 was certainly one of the toughest nights for the celebrities. There were two huge events happening simultaneously in Mumbai on Monday. One was Sonam Kapoor’s sangeet ceremony and the other one was industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s daughter’s engagement celebration. Sonam Kapoor’s sangeet ceremony might have been all over the internet, but the engagement celebration at Ambani’s received many eyeballs too. Famous Bollywood stars and cricket celebs attended this celebration. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal this weekend. Anand is the son of Ajay Piramal, the chairman of the Piramal Group of companies. Anand proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar and exchanged the rings.
The Childhood Friends
Isha and Anand are childhood friends and their families are friends for over four decades. The family and the couple share a very good rapport together.

Isha Ambani was seen wearing Sabyasachi collection at the event and her makeup was done by celebrity artist Vardan Nayak. No doubt, she was looking absolutely flawless at the occasion.

Anand and Isha’s engagement bash was hosted in Antilia which is Mukesh Ambani’s residence. The party was hosted by Isha’s grandparents Kokilaben Ambani and Purnimaben Dalal, Isha’s twin brother Akash Ambani, younger brother Anant Ambani. Anand’s sister Nandini, Peter, Anya, Dev and other family members were also present the occasion.
Sachin Tendulkar attended the engagement celebration of his close friend Nita Ambani’s daughter.
Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was also seen attending the pre-wedding ritual, God Dhana, organized at Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai residence Antilia.

The surprising part about the two grand events in Mumbai was that they both were hosted in different ends of the city which made it difficult for all the celebrities to attend one function.
