For every couple, their pre wedding shoot is their rite of passage. It concocts an environment for the to-be-couple that allows them to break the ice and get comfortable with each other. This is the perfect time where you can build your chemistry with each other. While exotic foreign locations like Dubai and Paris are becoming the ‘it’ thing, the swag of Punjab is unshaken. There is something so pure and blissful about the land of the Gurus that makes you fall in love with it instantly. Could there be any place more perfect than Punjab, where love has adulterated its soil, for some pre-nuptial fun and a unique pre wedding shoot? So this thought struck our mind and we were out looking for some amazing pre wedding shoot locations in Punjab. As expected, the place gave us some really beautiful spots that would be apt for a heartwarming pre wedding shoot.
So once we were done finding the lovely locales, we invited all our amazing soon to be married couples out there to participate in our contest that would give one lucky couple a chance to win a unique pre-wedding shoot in Punjab. We were overwhelmed by the response and absolutely loved each entry that we received for this contest. Also, we apologise as we were unable to stand true to our words because instead of choosing one couple, we selected two! Well, you can’t really blame us for that. Firstly, it was really difficult to choose from a large number of beautiful love stories. And secondly, one look at both our couples will make you fall for them instantly!
But before we move any further, we’ve got to thank all our amazing partners who helped us turn our beautiful concept into a reality. Hyatt Amritsar hosted our two couples- Hartej and Talwinder, and Gaurav and Nehu, for their utterly romantic and unique pre-wedding shoot. The dashing to be grooms were dressed by Raanjhanaa while the pretty brides to be looked drop dead gorgeous in designer dresses by Studio Himani Arora. The breathtaking jewellery that our lovelies embraced is from Khurana Jewellery House. All the smiles and shenanigans were captured under the keen supervision of Paran Singh Photography. The hair and makeup was taken care of by celebrity makeup artist Heera Anthony.

Couple #1: Hartej and Talwinder
For Hartej and Talwinder, it was Mark Zuckerberg who created all the magic. They met online where Facebook was the Cupid and their worlds changed. One night, around 1 am, Hartej decided to propose to his lady love and went straight to her place with two pieces of south Indian delicacy Mysore Pak. She said ‘yes’ and their undefiled love just inspired us to capture their sweet moments through an absolutely unique pre wedding shoot.
Their pre wedding photo shoot will give you all the feels. Though, it does include the beautiful ‘Punjab ke Khet’, everything looks surreal. Everything about this charming shoot will make you wonder if it is the beauty of the place or the bond of the couple that is making these pictures stand out. Couple #2: Gourav and Nehu
Friends are so important, especially when they are also friends with your crush. It was Gourav and Nehu’s common friend, Shubhi who introduced the two to each other. Gourav noticed a girl in Shubhi’s photos and instantly fell in love with her eyes and smiles. He asked his friend, Shubhi if she could introduce him to “that girl in the blue top”, which she did. Gourav sent a friend request to Nehu and exchanged numbers too. They talked over WhatsApp and Facebook for a very long time before they finally met. That one meeting was enough for the both of them to realise that they want to skip everything in-between and jump straight to the wedding.
Their unique pre wedding shoot depicts how love blossoms in the rustic setting of Punjab. Needless to mention, the old school charm of Punjab has been beautifully captured by the team of Paran Singh Photography through this shoot.
