About me - Garima Arya, Founder (Poshampa), is a trained visual art graduate from College of Arts, Delhi. She focuses on creating and promoting original art through her mix-media art exhibitions and her customized handcrafted shoe brand, Poshampa. The concept behind Poshampa - The concept behind Poshampa was to make original art reach through to common man through the medium of shoes. Combining everyday fashion with original art came through because not everyone can buy expensive wall paintings and art pieces. The idea was to create something which an average person can own and cherish. At Poshampa, Garima designs customized shoes using fabric/acrylic paints and other accessories to give them a funky and modern look. She has a wide variety of designs to choose from and also customizes unique designs for her select clients. She has created 100s of pair for a variety of clients which include women, kids, and men. Occasionally, she showcases her customized shoes through select exhibitions throughout Delhi. We started last year with a mere 1000 followers on our Instagram page and ended with more than 5000+ followers. We served more than 500 customers through our different channels including direct sales, workshops, and exhibitions. We also conducted 10+ workshops for aspiring shoemakers and artists and presented our brand at 8+ exhibitions throughout Delhi NCR. Some of our key highlights from 2018: We have created shoes for our very famous & talented beauty blogger Shreya Jain & our very charming & beautiful 'Broken' actress Harleen Sethi. Samar Jodha, noted photographer featured by NatGeo & a TedX speaker and Sacred Games actor Vikram Kochhar too joined us as a customer. Media was also particularly kind to us with top dailies like Times of India, The Statesman, New Indian Express, Asian Age, Harper's Bazaar, Society Magazine, Jagran Prakashan and Urban Melange. We also saw some love from our beloved blogs like LBB, WedMeGood & many more.
