Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha’s wedding festivities had a grand curtain down with their Mumbai reception party. The couple has been legally married since 2020, but recently celebrated all the missed-out wedding functions with their friends and family. The couple hosted a fun reception for their industry friends and family on October 4, 2022. Their Mumbai reception was held at The Great Eastern Mills in Byculla, a 176-year-old mill turned furniture store and event space. The star-studded affair saw many popular Bollywood stars and celebrities in attendance.

Ali and Richa’s reception look was extraordinary! Richa Chadha looked ethereal as she dolled up in a handcrafted lehenga by Anamika Khanna. The outfit was a blast of rich colors, a deep V neckline, heavy embroidery, sequin and mirror embellishments. It had intricate patchwork and tassel with a scalloped hemline and an intricately embroidered pallu placed elegantly on her shoulders.

While Ali looked dapper in an Indo-western suit designed by Kaushik Valendra. He wore a long black coat featuring puffed shoulders, notch lapel collars, full-length sleeves, and a structured silhouette. He teamed it with a collared button-up white shirt and black straight-fit pants. The couple posed hand-in-hand for the paparazzi and also distributed sweets to the media. The much-in-love couple looks all smiles in each other’s company.

One of the highlights of Richa and Ali Fazal’s reception in Mumbai, apart from the star-studded celebrity guest list, was their three-tier wedding cake. The stunning cake was grey in colour and was decorated with white and purple flowers. In one of the videos surfacing on the social media, we spot Richa and Ali laugh as they tried to cut the massive cake.

During their reception, the couple looked lost in love as they grooved to various Bollywood songs in each other’s arms. There was another cutesy moment where Ali put a finger on Richa’s finger and the video is too adorable!
