The recently concluded digital India Couture Week 2020 organised by the Fashion Design Council of India during this pandemic, was without doubt special in more than one way. Not only the Indian Couture Week 2020 held its first ever digital fashion show, it showcased some jaw dropping and gorgeous collections. The theme this year was “Decoding Couture: skilled crafts intermingle with the complexities of style to create grandeur” which was very well presented by designers like Manish Malhotra, Gaurav Gupta, Amit Aggarwal, Rahul Mishra, Shantanu and Nikhil, Anju Modi, Falguni Shane Peacock, Kunal Rawal, Dolly J, JJ Valaya, Suneet Varma and Reynu Tandon.

1. Ivory Is A Rage For Bridal Wear
Anju Modi’s latest collection has weaved a poetic magic and narrative around “ivory”. Anju Modi’s “Sindoori” Collection is beautiful and timelessly elegant in their simplicity, crushed mul muls in muted marble tones combined with heritage embroideries to create irresistible designs. Her latest collection is inspired by the traditional bride mixed with today’s contemporary fashion and is all about layering and taking forward the trend of lehengas with belts. Falguni Shane Peacocks debut foray into the full fledged bridal collection was every bit spectacular.
