Well, COVID-19 has literally introduced new and unique ways of getting married but this one with a drive through reception was truly exceptional. Keeping the social distancing rules in mind an Asian couple from Toronto, Faraz and Malaika had the most unique wedding and we are so stunned by it.
Faraz and Malaika met when they were both in third year at York, while studying political science. She asked him to attend a law seminar with her, and he knew right off the bat that she liked him. They were friends and the seminar was purely educational. In the early days, they just hung out at school. Faraz is an Indian Muslim and Malaika, a Pakistani Muslim. Eventually, they introduced their families to each other and decided that they wanted to get married.
They had always dreamt of a 1000 people wedding at the Pearson convention centre but little did they know that they had a pandemic awaiting. But this totally cool and unique drive-through idea of having a wedding was something that both of them couldn’t ignore.

Faraz too looked handsome as ever in his embroidered sherwani with a red stole and safa to coordinate with his lady love.

Their animated video invitation is just too adorable and must to take inspiration from.
They had all kinds of services to make the drive through entertaining..They handed out goodie bags full of candy, had an emcee who introduced everyone, and there was an amazing flute player who played a mix of Top 40 and Bollywood classics. There was also an ice cream truck, and they sent everyone home with a traditional dinner of butter chicken, barbecue chicken and rice that they could either enjoy in the parking lot or bring home. Isn’t that such a great and unique idea?
