With Covid 19 pandemic creating havoc in the entire world, people are forced to stay at home making them cancel or realign their plans, even taking major life altering decisions, including about their weddings. And, while some people are still sceptical about making the big decision of cancelling or postponing their wedding, we know some celebrities who just made the right choice.
Following the Government orders like responsible citizens many Bollywood and international celebrity couples have decided to postpone their summer wedding plans making their way to social distancing and self-quarantine.

1. Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan was all set to get married to his longtime beau Natasha Dalal in Thailand in summer 2020. However, with the recent Covid 19 pandemic situation becoming a serious concern for the entire world, the couple has decided to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai which is said to be scheduled for November tentatively.
2. Ali Faizal And Richa Chadha
The famous Bollywood film Fukrey co-stars Richa Chadha & Ali Fazal have been dating since 2015 and were all set to get married in April this year. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the couple has reportedly decided to shift their wedding dates to the end of the year i.e. December.
3. Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom
After their dreamy engagement on Valentine’s Day 2019, international singer Katy Perry was about to get married to Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom this June in Japan. However, the couple is now looking at their options including a private ceremony since Covid 19 pandemic has put a stop on their traveling plans.
4. Princess Beatrice And Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
Princess Beatrice’s wedding is getting postponed the third time- this time because of the coronavirus pandemic. Well, Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter was set to marry Italian Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at The Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace on May 29 followed by a private reception in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. However, the current pandemic situation has forced the queen to hit a pause to the grand and royal wedding affair.
5. Derek Fisher and Gloria Govan
The reality star and former NBA player Derek Fisher along with fiance Gloria Govan are among one of the many couples forced to postpone their summer 2020 wedding plans.
6. Emma Stone And Dave McCary
After getting engaged in December 2019, The couple were set to tie the knot this March in LA, but couldn’t since the US went under lockdown due to the Coronavirus.
Apart from the affected global economies and healthcare systems, social events and gatherings like weddings have been equally put to a halt with many celebrities shifting their wedding plans to the later half of the year.
