1. Red Lehenga
Red is an integral part of Indian weddings and there’d hardly be any girl who would not have imagined herself clad in a lehenga in this shade at one point of time. While the conventional bridal makeup look to go with a red lehenga so far has been lips in the same hue and contrasting green eye, things are a bit different this time. A sculpted look with rustic copper eyes and brown lips is a super hit colour combination this year if you are wearing a red lehenga at your wedding. So pick this rad colour combination and let your lehenga do all the talking.
2. Black Outfit
This is quite an unsusal colour for a girl to wear at one of her wedding functions and it is tricky for the artist as well to come up with a balanced bridal makeup look with this shade. Anubha suggests silver smokey eyes with red lips for this one. According to her, it makes the perfect combination to deal with the bold personality of black.
3. Marsala Gown
Marsala was officially announced as the colour of 2015 by colour authority, Pantone. Till date, we are head over heels in love with this sensuous shade. Such an unusual (yet gorgeous, of course) is sure to grab you all the eyeballs (for all the good reasons). You just have to ensure that your makeup is done right. Well, for a perfect bridal makeup to go with this hue, Anubha recommends,
“Sunset eyes with shades of marsala and gold dust work well with the tones of burgundy. Nude lips do justice to the entire look.”
4. Powder Blue Gown
This icy shade of blue is apt for a summer wedding. Deciding an immaculate Indian bridal makeup look for the combination of this silhouette and colour might be a tricky thing to come up with. Fortunately, we have Anubha Dawar to bail us out of this situation. She suggests,
“When smokey eyes with a little sparkle are coupled up with dark lipstick, it creates the best combination for the powder blue dresses.”
5. Blue Lehenga with Green Dupatta
The trend of using two contrasting colours in a bridal outfit is a rage this year. Here’s what Anubha has to recommend when it come to eyes and lips colour combination for this outfit,
“When the colours of your outfit are bold enough, simply stick to smokey eyes in earthy colours and shades of brown for the lips.”
