The newest bride on the block – Aditi Rao Hydari gave the majority of the brides a benchmark to look upon. Proving that minimal bridal looks are a thing, Aditi stole the show with her oh-so-dreamy bridal look. From Ditching Mehendi For Alta To Opting For A Traditional Septum Nose Ring, Aditi Rao Hydari’s Bridal Look Was Oh-So-Dreamy:

Breakdown Of Aditi Rao Hydari’s Bridal Look

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth had a traditional south Indian wedding which took place at a 400-year-old Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple, located at Srirangapur in Wanaparthy District, Telangana. It was built during the 18th century A.D. and holds significance for Aditi’s family.

The bride opted to go the traditional route with her wedding look and left us all swooning. She wore a gorgeous Maheshwari lehenga in a gold-dusted ivory hue which she paired with a Banarasi dupatta – all from designer Sabyasachi. Moreover, she paired it with a matching striped blouse with a hand-embroidered border.

She completed her look with traditional gold jewellery and a gajra. Instead of mehendi, the actress ditched mehendi for traditional red Alta–hand-painted half-moons were visible on her feet and back of her hand. Unlike other brides, Aditi also ditched nail paint, keeping her look extremely natural and regal. The ensembles paid a beautiful homage to their South Indian roots.
