After dating each other for seven years, Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on the same day they officially started dating. Taking their social media handles, the couple shared a series of pictures announcing their union.
Donning ivory outfits, the couple looked absolutely mesmerizing. The bride Sonakshi wore a chikankari saree which she styled with a matching striped blouse with a plunging neckline. She paired it with a stunning kundan choker and matching earrings. Keeping her style minimal, Sonakshi opted for matte makeup with pinkish nude lips and rounded her look with sleek hair and white roses. Complimenting his bride, Zaheer opted for a similar chikankari kurta in white that he paired with a flared salwar. With a golden statement watch and blow-out set hair, he certainly looked dapper.
Sharing her wedding pictures on Instagram, Sonakshi wrote,
“On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. In the pictures, Zaheer can be seen signing the wedding documents, while Sonakshi holds on to her father, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha’s hands. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married under the Special Marriage Act.
