The highly anticipated film festival kicked off on May 14, 2024, with an extravagant opening ceremony that set the tone for the prestigious 12-day event. This much-awaited time of the year brought a lot of attention and pride to the Indians this year! With prominent motifs that one can find on every other street and corner of the country, the vintage black tone of the saree is balanced with a burst of colors in the border, embellished by hand with sequin work and chikan embroidery.
For her second look, she opted for a sheer pink dress from Aurora Borealis collection. The ensemble featured a form-fitting, sleeveless mini dress embellished with intricate beadwork or sequins that add a shimmering effect. It exudes perfection by the Cannes waters, reflecting a blend of modern style and classic elegance.
Ankush Bahuguna
With an aim to make Indian designers shine with pride at the French Rivera, influencer Ankush Bahuguna served a fabulous look. The first look that this dapper-looking content creator wore was TORANI and grabbed eyeballs for all the right reasons.

The body-hugging silhouette of her gown perfectly accentuated her curves while the cute detailing near the waist made it even more exciting.
Going with an iconic silhouette of a voluminous ballgown, Masoom Minawala once again stole the show in a red attire. This custom Scarlet gown by ace designer Amit Aggarwal as he draws inspiration from the beauty of architecture and the organic elements of nature. The long trial dress has a flared silhouette and a strata micro-pleated bodice.

Fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi stuns at her Cannes debut in a self-designed ballgown. One look at Nancy Tyagi’s social media accounts and you are instantly hit with her fashion creativity. Best known for replicating high fashion attire in her own creative way, believe it or not, Nancy’s Cannes ballgown was her own creation too which she stitched over the span of one month.
For her second self-made outfit for Cannes, Nancy opted for a saree featuring intricate hand embroidery. Every piece was meticulously crafted and assembled by her and she looked stunning!

Wearing a gorgeous gown by Falguni Shane Peacock, the Miss World slayed on the red carpet and showed the world how it’s done. The gown had a long train with huge golden flowers and featured monochrome white and black. She styled her look with big golden earrings and gave a retro feel with her entire look. She kept her hair open but tied them with pins in the front.
