Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are to marry in a Maharashtrian wedding on January 3, 2024. The two have been dating for a couple of years now and have been quite open about their relationship since the beginning. Ira and Nupur got engaged in 2022 and are now tying the knot. Ahead of the wedding, Amir Khan and Reena Dutta’s respective homes were all decked up before their daughter’s wedding.
We found some of their pre-wedding Kelvan pictures. In the photos, Ira can be seen wearing a red saree with golden embroidery and a sleeveless black blouse. She accessorised her look with flower ornaments, including a neckpiece and dainty earrings. The bride-to-be completed her look with a red bindi on her forehead. Meanwhile, Nupur wore a yellow kurta and white pyjama. The soon-to-be wed couple is all smiles in the photos.
On January 2, 2024, Amir Khan’s ex-wives – Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao were seen at the groom – Nupur’s residence for the ‘haldi’ ceremony. Dressed in a stunning Maharashtrian Navvari attire, the ladies looked great!
In a recent interview, Aamir confirmed the date and said, “Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is – his pet name is Popoye — he is trainer, he has arms like Popoye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that they are so happy together. They are very well connected; they really look after each other and care for each other.”
