1. Deepika Padukone

For her Sindhi Anand Karaj, the Deepika Padukone wore a stunning Sabyasachi outfit in red and gold. This lehenga had a dupatta with embroidered Devnagari’s script borders that read ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ which translates to ‘may you always stay wedded’. Isn’t that stunning?

2. Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt customized her bridal look in multiple ways. Her bridal blouse design featured an out-of-the-box approach with golden-embroidered butterfly designs. The embroidery on the veil had the 8 / infinity symbol (∞) which holds much significance to the couple. From her mangalsutra design to her mehendi, kaleere, veil and blouse embroidery, Alia used the ‘8’ as a beautiful infinity symbol (∞). The veil also featured an alphanumeric detail of their wedding date ‘The fourteenth of April 2020’ embroidered in white.

3. Parineeti Chopra

The recent bride on the block – Parineeti Chopra customized her bridal veil with ‘Raghav’ in Devanagari script. She also used her nani’s challa as her lehenga tassel, and even customized her kaleere with special elements that added to her and Raghav’s love story.

4. Patralekha

Patralekha was a stunning bride and we are still in awe of her gorgeous wedding look. She customized her wedding look with a personalized dupatta which had Bengali text running across her bridal chunni that roughly meant ‘I offer my heart, completely filled with love, to you.’ Isn’t that so romantic?

5. Priyanka Chopra

For her white wedding, Priyanka Chopra wore a Ralph Lauren gown which had little things embroidered all over her veil. Such as “Hope” and “Compassion,” as well as a Hindu mantra, “Om Namaha Shivay,” and “December 1, 2018,” the date of the ceremony. Kiara Advani customized her wedding kaleere. It had tons of little things that were an ode to Sidharth Malhotra. It featured Sid’s beloved dog Oscar who passed away last year, their favorite travel destination Rome, and all things love and mischief.

Katrina Kaif’s wedding kaleera too won hearts. It had handmade messenger doves and words from the Bible like Cleo and Elysian written over them along with ‘Om’ in her kaleera. There was a mention of what they call each other, there was a reference to a cartoon character, such cute things.

Athiya Shetty’s wedding with KL Rahul was a dreamy affair. Her kaleera designer Mrinalini Chandra shared a closer look at her customised style statements which were inscribed with meaningful Sanskrit vows. She shared, “These kaliras symbolise everything meaningful a relationship can encompass, Love, respect, joy, calm and peace. Written in Sanskrit these Saptapadi wedding vows are for eternity. Over 50 tiny handcrafted sunflowers dancing around sunshine, manifesting the joyous union of the happy couple”.
