Aisha, Dubai and Kolkata-based fashion content creator, decided to get married in a luxury farmhouse in Chhatarpur, Delhi.

How Did You Two Meet Each Other? What Was That Special Something About Sahil That Caught Your Eye?

Aisha shares – “We met at an event at Sahil’s cafe, Sahil Gulati Is a founder/ Owner of India’s first Deaf and mute cafe – Echoes.

We came from two very different places, cultures, and backgrounds. But as they say, opposites attract. We somehow struck a chord in each other’s hearts, and after a year of friendship, we knew we were right for each other. Sahil proposed to me with a 3-carat diamond ring, and I was more than happy to accept. And instantly said yes! I fell in love with Sahil because of his simplicity and caring nature. Although our relationship started as friendship only, gradually when the series of meetings increased, both of them started understanding each other more. After this, both of them dated for a long time and one day thought of taking this relationship a step higher and got married.”

How Was Wedding Like? Tell Us More About The Wedding Planning Details.

Influencer Aisha Mahdi tells us, “The wedding planning went smoothly because both of us wanted the same things. We wanted to celebrate both our cultures, wanted to keep it subtle and classy, yet seem like it was straight out of a dream. And while choosing our wedding planner, we made sure that their team could understand our vision and turn it into reality. The decorations were also taken care of, keeping our ideas in mind. We needed a daisy wooden theme.”

How Did You Zero In On Your Wedding Lehengas?

Sharing about her wedding lehenga, Aisha tells us “I wanted our wedding outfits to be minimalistic yet designer. White and gold were my go-to colors, and I didn’t want those pre-designed lehengas they sell in the markets. So, being a fashion influencer, I myself designed my lehenga and got it made in white ivory with gold embroidery and stitched from Moradabad. The jarkan stones on my lehenga made it all the more beautiful, and I paired it with a maharani haar. The color choice and everything else about the lehenga signified elegance and purity. Sahil’s sherwani also complimented my outfit, and so did my makeup!”

Any Tips For Future Brides-To-Be?

After her experience as a bride, Aisha has some tips and insights for brides-to-be. She shares – “As an Indian bride-to-be, you may be feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves as your big day approaches. While weddings are undoubtedly a joyous occasion, they can also be quite stressful to plan. My best tip is to make a list of everything you need to do in the months leading up to the wedding. This will help you stay organized and on top of things. On the day of the wedding, remember to take a deep breath and savor every moment. And you will surely cherish these memories all your life!”
