Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating each other since 2017 after the duo met on the sets of Brahmastra. This celebrity couple’s dear friend Ayan Mukerji revealed during an event how Alia and Ranbir started dating and were initially not comfortable stepping out together.
However, a lot has changed ever since and this dynamic celebrity couple has been spotted occasionally. Alia was even seen hanging out with Ranbir’s family quite often and has even attended the annual family Christmas lunch at the Kapoor mansion a couple of times.
During her recent movie promotion, Alia Bhatt revealed her wedding plans and confessed that in her head, she is already married to Ranbir Kapoor.
“If you ask me honestly in terms of when I will get married, well, in my head I’m already married to him. Forget that! When I saw him for the first time on screen, that was the day I decided that I wanted to marry him. That was when I was a sweet little girl. But that’s what I meant and I feel it’s a state of mind. It’s the peace that you have in your mind, in your heart, and in your relationship.”
Recently, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted visiting an Indian designer Beena Kannan. She is the CEO and lead designer of Seematti textiles, which specializes in bridalwear.
As soon as the designer uploaded a picture with the duo, wedding speculations have caught on like wildfire!
When Are Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor Getting Married?
Just after the picture with designer Beena Kannan went viral, it has been reported that Alia and Ranbir are all set to get married in April 2022. It is also said that the preparations for the big day have already begun in full swing.
However, talking to a news channel, Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain attempted to clarify these rumors.
She said:
“Nothing that I know of as yet. They will get married but I don’t know when. They will decide and then suddenly you’ll will all get to know. Hum log ne kuch prepare hi nahin kiya toh shaadi kaise itni jaldi hogi (We haven’t prepared anything yet, so how will the wedding happen so soon?). It will be shocking for me also if it’s true. The wedding will definitely happen, but I don’t know when.”
However, the couple has never officially commented on the same but we definitely hope that this rumor is true! We cannot wait to see yet another grand and much-awaited celebrity wedding!
