1. What Are Daily Skincare Must-Haves For Brides-To-Be?

A) Ojas Rajani, a reputed Delhi based MUA advises that brides must hydrate themselves for that glow. Keeping the skin hydrated can also help in slowing its ageing process as hydration helps in maintaining the skin’s elasticity. She also recommends Vitamin C serum to boost the skin to glow. Vitamin C protects the skin from many problems, including sunburn, photoaging, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, sagging, dryness, and an uneven skin tone and gives a naturally glowing complexion.

B) Saloni Patni enriches our knowledge with the fact that a good CTM (cleaning, toning and moisturising) is a must for all the brides-to-be. These aren’t just the three vital steps to ensuring glowing, fresh and youthful skin but are the very heart and core of healthy skincare. This routine should become a part of your daily life.

C) Shradha Luthra recommends that using sunscreen on a daily basis is very important. Whether you are inside or going out, she advises all her brides-to-be to apply whichever sunscreen is best for their skin. However, she recommends ‘La Shield’. Our skin works to protect us from harmful ultraviolet radiation, which is why we should use sunscreen to protect us from damaging UV rays.

D) Simran Pahilani approves of the fact that cleansing on a daily basis is  essential for a glowing skin. She advises to rinse your face with cold water at-least twice a day with a face wash that suits your skin type. Cleansing removes dirt, sweat and pollutants on the surface of the skin. If not cleansed properly, dirt and pollution accumulate at the surface of your skin and could potentially contribute to breakouts.

How about saving these tips for healthy pink lips.

2. What Is The Best Skincare Advice That They Want To Give To Their Brides-To-Be?

A) Ojas Rajani guides us and asks all her brides-to-be to use products that suit their skin type.  If the product isn’t right for your skin type it won’t be as effective and could aggravate existing conditions, or even cause new ones. She suggests a serum at night before going to bed to treat skin concerns such as fine lines, loss of elasticity, uneven skin tone, and dehydration for a radiant skin.

B) Saloni Patni throws light on the fact that sleeping with makeup or dirt on your face is a big no. Since, at night, your skin cells are trying to regenerate and exfoliate off, so leaving a layer of makeup on creates a barrier that can lead to acne. Therefore, you must follow a proper skincare regime before going to bed.

C) Shradha Luthra explains that less is more and advises all her brides-to-be to not go for any facial or skin treatment that they have not tried before. She simply asks them to stick to basics and make sure that whatever they are using is just perfect for their skin. Also, never say yes to any skin treatment before consulting a dermatologist.

D) Simran Pahilani gives a very unique suggestion to all our dearest brides-to-be. She literally tells us about changing the pillow covers regularly. Your pillowcases, bedsheets, and even your couch cushions retain a great deal of bacteria, dead skin cells, dust mites, and a variety of other unsavory things which are not at all good for your skin. Thus, she advises to change pillow cases on a regular basis.

B) Saloni Patni recommends fruits containing Vitamin C like orange, berries, kiwi, papaya. Leafy vegetables like cucumber, tomato, carrots show good results on skin and hair when consumed regularly. It helps to heal damaged skin and, in some cases, reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Adequate vitamin C intake can also help repair and prevent dry skin.
