Our beautiful Cancer survivor, Navi Indran Pillai dreamt the day of marrying the love of her life. Having gone through chemotherapy, losing her hair was by far the hardest thing. She felt that she was not beautiful enough to be loved and was not beautiful enough to look or ever feel like a bride. But she chose to accept and appreciate it and here is our diva presenting herself proudly and there is no one as beautiful as her.

Amisha Bhardwaj was seen dancing in shorts and her wedding blouse with her bridesmaids and her video was the talk of the town. Apparently people wanted her to act ‘shy’ as she was a bride-to-be. She was trolled for the choice of clothing but that did not affect her at all. The video reflected the confidence of a woman and she has no shame in it.

7. This Bride Who Wrote Her Exam Right After Her Wedding Ceremony

The number of brides that have left their education after marriage is beyond count. This bride from Hassan, Karnataka, named Swetha, broke all stereotypes by writing her exam right after her marriage ceremony. This 20-year-old bride stands as an inspiration for all women to set their priorities.

8. A Sikh Bride Whose Mother Performed The Kanyadaan

The bride Hernoor Grewal chose her mother to carry forward her ‘Palla’(also known as kanyadaan, where the father is supposed to give away his daughter). Hernoor’s mother has brought up Hernoor and her other siblings all by herself. Her father had left them long ago and this did bring down her mother’s spirits.
