Wedding photographer Avnish Dhoundiyal’s rustic intimate wedding in Bhopal was a serene and blissful event. Avnish and Nimisha first met virtually in 2016 when Nimisha joined a wedding planning company. From thereon they clicked and embarked on a beautiful friendship that soon turned into a courtship. In March 2019, both Nimisha and Avnish were going through some difficult times and that’s when they became each other’s support system. And they learned that they wanted to spend their lives together. Soon, they decided to introduce each other to their parents. And Nimisha tells us that she instantly felt at ease upon meeting Avnish’s parents.
Their parents were happy with their relationship and decided on a Roka date in July 2019. But then things took a turn when their parents decided to get them married instead of just having the Roka ceremony. It turned out to be better that way since some of their family members from overseas were visiting and it would have been hard for them to be back again for the wedding. It all worked out for the best because otherwise their wedding would have been postponed due to COVID-19. The wedding date was fixed to be 4th August 2019 and they hardly had 14 days to plan the whole wedding, that too virtually. But they managed to pull it off since they both worked in the wedding industry and were connected with many trustworthy vendors. And the venue was decided upon to be Jeha Numa Retreat in Bhopal.

1. Mehendi Ceremony
The mehendi ceremony was a very low-key and indoor event. The minimalist decor added such elegance and beauty. Nimisha went for soft makeup and open wavy hair for her mehndi look.

2. Haldi Celebrations
With all the close family and friends, the Haldi celebration was definitely a blast. Just like the mehendi ceremony, Haldi too had a minimalist decor. Although it was (thankfully) an outdoor setup. All their family members and friends did not hold back when it came to applying haldi to the two lovebirds. And the whole gang seemed to have a lot of fun.

3. The Bride & Groom
Both Avnish and Nimisha looked stunning on their wedding day. Avnish reached out to his close friend Delhi who has her own brand of clothing for all his outfits. Nimisha, on the other hand, got her outfits from her Bua’s boutique. It sure was a very personal and intimate experience. For the wedding, Nimisha wore a red silk Banarasi saree bought from a local store. She wanted to look like a Sabyasachi model and her makeup artist helped her pull off that look. And Avnish sort of twinned with Nimisha in his wedding outfit as his Nehru jacket had the Banarasi print as well.

4. The Rustic Intimate Wedding
Nimisha shares that they wanted their wedding to have a rustic and elegant look. And their vendors helped them achieve that vibe, for sure. The wedding was all about serenity and love that the two of them share amongst each other. Both Avnish and Nimisha consider themselves very lucky to have been able to plan their beautiful wedding in such a short span of time.
Wishing these two nothing but the best for their lovely married life.
