Harman and Gursimran’s Punjabi wedding in Jalandhar is one to take tons of inspiration from. The couple met each other about 11 years ago and their first meeting was not at all a lovey-dovey one. Gursimran actually ignored her when Harman wished him ‘Happy Birthday’ and with that their story began. They started talking on FB and gradually developed feelings for each other. Most of their relationship was long distance since they lived in different states, but they went through school, college, and jobs talking to each other everyday and dreaming about the day they would get married.
Those 10 years they helped one another grow and reach their goals. They are quite similar, contrary to what Harman had thought before. They shared the dream of having a traditional punjabi wedding at their ancestral homes in Punjab.

1. Moroccan Mehendi Ceremony
For the mehndi function, Harman came up with the Moroccan theme about 4-5 months prior to the wedding. She also wanted something sleeveless and flowy so it can be pulled up and away during the application of mehendi. She wore a pretty lavender jumpsuit and during the mehendi party changed into a short mustard lehenga. The floral kadas were our favorite from the look.

2. Rajasthani Themed Jaggo Ceremony
Harman wanted to have a Rajasthani themed Jago ceremony as she has a thing for royal Rajasthani looks and elephants.
