We all know about the ongoing protests by farmers in Delhi against the Central Government’s farm laws. However, this groom in Haryana drove a tractor to his wedding to support the farmers. He actually decided to leave his luxury car behind and make his entry in a tractor and has wooed social media by his gesture.
The farmers in different parts of the country are protesting against The Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce Act, 2020, The Farmers Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and The Essential Commodities Act, 2020.
The groom, who owns a business might have moved to the city, but his roots are connected with farming, and therefore by ditching the luxury vehicle at his wedding, he wanted to show solidarity with farmers.

The mother of the groom, Shishila also mentioned that their family opted for a simple wedding for their son so that they could save some money and donate it to the farmers. The money saved will be donated to the Gurudwaras that are helping the farmers with food.
