Scroll Down Below To Know How Makeup Artists Are Taking Precautions In Such Difficult Times –

1. Guneet Virdi, New Delhi

Guneet Virdi tells us that she has been very particular about her staff and her clients. Even for on location makeup bookings they have been taking all necessary precautions, from PPE kit to masks to product sanitisers, they are using it all. Her team makes sure to sanitise the studio  after every makeup session and at an interval of maximum 2 hours.

Tip: She also advises her brides-to-be to relax and go with the flow because it will affect your skin and that golden glow during your D-day.

2. Ojas Rajani, Mumbai

Ojas shares with us that the team has maintained a strict hygiene protocol always be it COVID or no COVID and masks and gloves are a compulsion. Makeup products are sanitised daily before use and immediately after use as they have invested in the UVC light machines at all points. They have also been using disposable makeup brushes, highlighters, eyeliner and mascara wands to ensure full safety.

Tip: Keep your confidence and you will come out as a rocking and the most diva looking bride.

3. Pratishtha Arora, New Delhi

Team Pratishtha Arora tells us that they are wearing masks and shields throughout the makeup, but their hands were obstructed because of PPE kits and gloves. So they choose to sanitise and wash their hands every now and then for the client’s safety as well as theirs. Some tools in their kits are added that are disposable and used just once. Products  that cannot be disposed of after a single use are sanitised well and do not come in contact with the client’s skin directly.

Tip: Carry your own lipstick, kajal and mascara. Try taking studio bookings as most of us are fumigating studios frequently so they are much safer than getting ready at the venues.

4. Sohni Juneja, New Delhi

Sohni also makes sure that her team is wearing masks, shields and gloves all the time to ensure safety of clients as well as themselves. They are only taking bookings on a pre appointment basis and not allowing any walk in’s. Sohni and her team uses disposable products and maintains a no-contact rule.

Tip: Have a lot of vitamin C that will not only boost one’s immunity but also work wonders on the skin. Try opting for airbrush makeup to minimise your contact between you and the MUA. Go for heavy/ dramatic eyes and light matter lip shades while wearing a mask.

5. Makeup Magic By Priyanka Jain, New Delhi

Priyanka Jain shares that masks and shields are very important at her studio. The area is sanitized after every bridal makeup. She and her team are very particular about sanitizing the studio at least thrice in a day. They try to include disposable products too keeping in mind the safety of their clients.

Tip: Brides-to-be should be conscious of all the precautions being taken around and enjoy the day wholeheartedly. No glossy lipsticks if you are wearing a mask and no heavy makeup around the chin area. Go for a statement look rather than doing up the whole face heavily.

6. Makeup Tales By Mukta, New Delhi

Please be sure of the fact that Mukta Chandra ensures complete safety of her clients as she and her team maintains complete hygiene and undertake safety measures while providing their services. They also sanitize equipment and pallets after every use and have been taking venue bookings.

Tip:  Makeup is something which cannot be done without touching and hence I would suggest you to consider freelancers for this job instead of going to any parlours where many people have access to all the products. Also freelancers can give you venue services and you don’t have to go out.
