Recently, a wedding in Guwahati, Assam witnessed an Assamese couple tying the knot wearing matching masks and we are impressed.
Several pictures and videos from this intimate marriage ceremony, which took place on May 22, are flooding the social media and why not.
Wondering what’s so special about this Assamese bride? Well, check out for yourself here:
With face masks and sanitizers announced as basic necessities for survival in the recent pandemic times, we couldn’t help but praise this bride’s artistic way to include a matching silk handloom mask to complement her wedding day look perfectly.
The masks were designed by designer Nandini Borkakati. Unlike her groom, the Assamese bride’s mask had fringes attached to it making it a stylish addition to her bridal look.
The masks were crafted using Assam’s Paat silk fabric which was then adorned with a kingkhap motif and we are totally loving their wedding pictures.
And, while Coronavirus is creating a havoc in the lives of people worldwide, we totally adore the way people are coming up with creative ways to include precautionary measures in their lives and living the moment to the fullest.
