Nothing could set the tone for this year better than the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. Every year we witness several designers taking the ramp by storm with their new collection. This year too was an absolute treat to eyes, with tons of fashion inspirations for one and all. The Summer edition of Lakme Fashion Week 2019 was organized by IMG Reliance Limited in collaboration with Lakme at JioGarden, Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai. This five-day event took place from 30th January until 3rd February.
The 39th edition of the Lakme Fashion Week saw many bigwigs from the fashion industry along with new talent showcasing their fine collections, at the event. Anushree Reddy, Shantanu and Nikhil, Payal Singh, Raghavendra Rathore, Shehla Khan and Sailesh Singhania to name a few. These designers left us mesmerized with their stunning creations.

Anushree Reddy’s Atirah Collection
Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut stunned the runway, as she walked as a showstopper for Anushree Reddy at Lakme Fashion Week 2019. According to the designer, this collection is inspired to bring back the old world charm to life with intricate floral lattice jaalis and hand-drawn thread work embroideries. Isn’t Anushree Reddy’s summer collection Atirah all about intricate details and a refreshing colour palette?!
Raghavendra Rathore’s All Black Collection
The uncle-niece duo (Anil Kapoor and Jahnvi Kapoor) walked down the ramp for ace designer Raghavendra Rathore. The two looked completely glamorous in all black. Raghavendra’s new summer collection 2019 is influenced by formal evening dressing. This collection by Raghavendra Rathore is “An Ode to the Bandhgala”.
Mishru’s Classic Yet Contemporary Collection
Diana Penty donned a gorgeous looking mauve lehenga at Lakme Fashion Week 2019 and we are totally crushing over it. This designer’s new summer collection is all about pastel hues beautifully woven to give a twist to the classic wedding and festive wear.
Sailesh Singhania’s Shaahana Collection
Simple yet classic, the regal summer collection by Saiesh Singhania caught our attention the most at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. Aditi Rao Hydari looked absolutely gorgeous as she closed the show for the designer. Seems like we are going to see a lot of golden this wedding season!
Shriya Som’s Ruffle And Crystal Collection
Lisa Haydon looked ethereal in Shreya Som’s designer wear at Lakme Fashion Week 2019. This designer’s summer collection is all about romantic and whimsical hues featuring a melange of ruching, ruffles and raffia.
Shehlaa Khan’s Diana Collection
Lakme Fashion Week 2019 witnessed Shehlaa Khan’s sublime summer collection ‘Diana’ featuring sheer fabrics and sultry silhouettes. Actress Isabella Kaif and Bhumi Pednekar closed the star-studded show for Designer Shehlaa Khan and we are loving their stunning outfits.
Shantanu and Nikhil’s Contemporary Collection
The gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan did steal the show at Lakme Fashion Week 2019 in a Shantanu and Nikhil outfit. She completely rocked that bold avatar in this all black outfit. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that black is surely going to rock this wedding season!
Payal Singhal’s Qo’shilish Collection
Ace designer Payal Singhal narrated the tale of ancient artistry techniques through her reimagined silhouettes and an intriguing colour palette. Her latest collection is every bride’s dream for this wedding season!
Manoj Agarrwal’s Layered Collection
The seductively sweet collection of Manoj Agarrwal is all about sheer net layers. According to the designer, the light layers of nets of the skirt give the impression of a subtle and versatile choice for the modern brides.
Shivan and Narresh’s Pattachitra Collection
This designer presented a 100% free flow fabric collection at Lakme Fashion Week 2019. The collection took inspiration from elements of Odisha’s Pattachitra art and juxtaposed it with the intrinsic Tholu Bommalata leather puppetry of Andhra Pradesh.
Abhishek Sharma and Aikeyah’s Contemporary Collection
The designers presented their latest look book for the summers with the nude colour palette and we are completely awe-struck!
Lakme Fashion Week 2019 was all about black, nude and pastel hues. Every designer did put in their best to give us some of the most gorgeous designs and we are loving them all!
