Yayy!! Deepika and Ranveer are finally married and as soon as they posted their wedding pictures everyone has gone crazy over their wedding looks. How gorgeous DeepVeer looked in their customised Sabyasachi ensembles. The couple had two wedding ceremonies, a Konkani one and a Sindhi wedding ceremony called Anand Karaj on 14th and 15th November respectively. Head to toe, dressed in Sabyasachi outfits, DeepVeer, looked so much in love.
While, you may have loved their wedding look at the Anand Karaj, you probably do not know the following unknown facts:
1. The Color Coordinated Wedding Outfits For The Sindhi Wedding
The idea was to color coordinate Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding look and Sabyasachi Mukherjee did it splendidly. Deepika wore a stunning bright red and gold matka silk lehenga with intricate embroidery and threadwork. Whereas, Ranveer was styled in red brocade shervani which had golden motifs all over it. He completed his look with a red and gold safa on his head which made him every bit the royal groom.
2. Deepika’s Blouse Has To be The Hottest New Trend for Brides-To-be
Deepika opted for a high neck blouse and styled her lehenga with two dupattas.
3. Deepika and Ranveer’s Wedding Accessories
Color coordination was not the only similarity between #deepveerwedding outfits. Even the bride’s dupatta and the groom’s stole were a little similar with gotta patti or with gold fringe border on the hem. Ranveer’s stole had zari and embellishments over it.
But, what grabbed the maximum eyeballs was the inscription, ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’. As per Konkani rituals the sister of the groom places a red dupatta on the bride’s head and that’s the same dupatta Deepika is seen wearing at her Sindhi wedding.
Before Deepika and Ranveer, Sonam Kapoor wore gota patti work at her wedding. So, can we say gota patti work has come in trend with these bollywood beauties?
4. Deepika and Ranveer’s Statement Wedding Jewellery
Deepika’s bridal jewellery is certainly grabbing all the eyes. She wore kundan jewellery, with a statement maang tikka, nath and not to miss her big shiny engagement ring. The chooda and kalire Deepika wore were by Ra Abta by Rahul which are priced at approximately INR 16,500. Talking about the kalira detail, they are handcrafted traditional peepal patti kaleeras completed with fresh-water pearls.
Coming to Ranveer’s wedding jewellery, he looked suave in kundan necklace with a layered rubies necklace.
