Traditional Attire
Bollywood is known to think out-of-the-box. You will rarely come across a Bollywood bride wearing a simple attire. Taapsee’s outfit, however, is perfect for the brides who prefer simple dresses. She wore a typical Punjabi salwar suit which is favoured in the rural areas of Punjab.
The Blushing Colour
Dark hues have been dominating the bridal couture of 2018. We saw a lot of emerald green, burgundy and gold in this year’s bridal wear, but we saw different colors in this movie. Taapsee went against the flow and was seen wearing a light pink color. This shade is perfect for a day wedding. The pink she wore has a special place in both Hindu and Sikh cultures. It makes an appearance in almost all the auspicious occasions.
Light Ethnic Work
The idea was to keep her look as simple as possible, Taapsee was given a suit with very light work. Her suit had sequin patchwork in light golden color and the dupatta had golden chanderi work.
Heavy Jewellery
Taapsee’s simple bridal look was compensated with heavy gold jewellery. Her entire bridal set includes a choker, chand balis, matha patti and a mandatory nose ring. The dull gold gave the entire look a very traditional touch which complimented Taapsee’s entire look.

No Punjabi bride is complete without her kaleeras. Like a true Punjabi bride, Taapsee’s character also flaunted heavy kaleeras. These golden blessings were all she needed to complete the look.
