The start of the event was quite grand with Tarun Tahiliani, opening the Indian Couture Week 2018 and showcasing his latest collection, which was completely different from his usual style. His bridal collection ‘Elysium’ was full of iridescent florals and sparkling Swarovski crystals. Aditi Rao Hydari being the showstopper looked stunning in paneled coral French knot lehenga with a tulle drape and panelled veil. Embellished with padparadscha Swarovski crystals. This is certainly going to be every bride’s dream wedding attire. Their collection was more of golds and off-whites keeping it traditional and majestic with lots of Swarovski at the edges. Their embroidered outfits were, weightless, breezy and extravagant. His collection signals the biggest bridal trend of the coming wedding season as the weightless lehengas have overpowered heavy lehengas.

The Vintage rose gold zari threads and silk threads are intricately embroidered into exaggerated floral and scalloped hems, over layered with sequins, giving a painterly effect and softness to the romance-inspired collection.
