You are getting married and are just too excited to host a grand and super-fun wedding party for your guests. Right from the dance floor to the bar, everything is taken care of already. But, what about the little guests who’d also be a part of your wedding celebrations! The kids do not always find fun in various elements of weddings as us adults do. And so, they sometimes get a bit cranky at the weddings making it difficult even for the older ones to enjoy the celebrations to the fullest. That’s why it is important for you to pay special attention to the needs of the kids and make some special arrangements even for them.
Ritika Girdhar, Founder- Pom Pom Events, shares some fabulous ideas on how you can turn your wedding kids-friendly.
1. A Food Counter With Kids-Special Menu
Kids are quite tough to deal with when it comes to food. But when the food is appealing to them, things get really easier. So, install a kids-special food counter with menu designed especially for them. Trust us, the little munchkins at your wedding will love to guzzle down colourful cupcakes, cake pops, cookies and chocolates.
2. A Play Area To Keep Them Entertained
While the adults would be having fun in all the wedding rituals, it would be great to have a separate section for the kids with swings and toys in it to keep them entertained.
3. Activity Corner To Keep Them Busy
Believe it or not, your little guests are not going to be easy to please. You will have to go an extra mile to keep them happily busy at your wedding. Well, why not have some activity-counters to do this task? You can opt for a shooting booth, hut making counter and much more for the kids and they will totally love it.
4. Kids-Special Photo Booth
If you don’t want the kids to mess around with the props at your photo booth, then give them a separate one. Keep cute props and backdrops for them and let them strike a pose in their own area.
5. Let Them Meet Their Favourite Fictitious Character
Undoubtedly, all kids love fairies, superheroes and other such fictitious characters that they usually see in cartoon shows. It definitely would be elating for them when they’d get to meet them in person. So hire some models that’d attend your sweet little guests and ensure that they are having as much fun as the adults at your wedding.
Not only these ideas are super-fun, but they are also quite easy to implement and budget-friendly too. So, why not make a little extra effort and make your wedding an affair to remember for all your guests!
