It is always heart-warming to see the puppy love between two people culminating in an intense and honest relationship. As such couples withstand all the tests of time, they also become an inspiration for all the young lovebirds out there in the world. Well, today we are going to talk about one such love-struck couple. Meet Aditi and Shubham!
The two fell head over heels in love with each other at a very tender age. Not just that, they have even launched multiple businesses together since then. What’s more? The talented bride, who presently runs an online fashion brand, also played an integral role in designing and planning her own wedding along with the professional wedding designing team from Devika Narain & Company. So, let us take you through the mesmerizing wedding journey of Aditi and Shubham.
Their wedding was a two-day affair at the Leela Palace, Udaipur with 150 guests present at the do. The celebrations included mehendi, sangeet, wedding ceremonies and lastly a reception party.
The celebrations began with the mehendi ceremony, the theme for which was inspired from the guava gardens at The Leela Palace. The highlights of the mehendi ceremony’s décor included parrots, guavas, white flowers and pomegranates.
The colour theme for the mehendi included a mix of white and gold with a splash of pink. Besides, there were a lot of fun activities such as kite flying, hair braiding, parrot astrology, caricature drawing, etc. Another centre of attention for the guests was a bangles, lehariya dupattas and parandas station from which they could take anything they liked and wear it.
Following the mehendi, there was a sangeet ceremony which took place at the ballroom and terrace of The Leela Palace. The already stunning décor of the venue was enhanced further by the décor that included gold sequins in abundance along with deep tones of purple and burgundy.
After sangeet came the much-awaited day of the couple’s life, i.e., the wedding day! The wedding took place at one of the most spectacular spots of The Leela Palace, Udaipur. It was at the outer courtyard or rangmanch, which overlooks at some of the most stunning locations of the royal city including views of the Lake Palace, City Palace and Jagmandir.
To add a pinch of magic to this stunning location, the wedding design team chose to pick some elements in the gorgeous hue, marsala. Even though marsala was the official colour of the year 2016, we feel it can never fail to create a magic whenever and wherever it is used. Probably that’s exactly what the wedding designers of the couple thought while working on the décor. Well, after looking at the pictures, we must say they were absolutely correct.
And if you thought this is all about the grandeur of this dreamy destination wedding, wait as we’ve got more. The mandap of the wedding was in the centre of the water body and the entire ceiling was covered with rajnigandha. To top it all, the water body was filled with roses and floating pattals and diyas.
Well, that clearly was one wedding to be remembered forever, and we wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and togetherness!
