1. No More Junk (food) In Your Trunk.

Even though all the wedding stress might make you crave fried food, don’t do it!  Replace all your unhealthy snacking with hydrating foods like watermelon, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, kale, avocado, etc.

2. Water, Water, Water!

8-10 glasses of water a day, will flush the toxins away!  You can also try coconut water or lime water to help you feel and look less bloated.

3. Moisturize Wisely

Choose a moisturizer that caters to your skin type. For example, if your skin is oily you wouldn’t want to add more moisture but you’ll still want to keep your skin hydrated. If you’re not sure about your skin type, make an appointment with your dermatologist to help determine the best moisturizer for you.

4. Kiss Me Lips

Who wants chapped lips on their wedding day?  No one! While we are so focused on our face, hands, and feet, we often neglect our lips. All you have to do is apply a thick balm with SPF 30 to keep your lips hydrated and oh so kissable. Only for the groom of course.

5. Beauty Recipes!

Here are some really simple recipes that will do wonders for your skin, and only take a few minutes to make. And the best part is, these are things we all have stocked in our kitchen.
#1. Coffee and Strawberry Scrub
Mix one tablespoon of well-grounded coffee with a cup of mashed ripe strawberries, until you get a thick paste. Apply this paste to your skin (face and body) and leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it water. The strawberries will make your skin smooth while the coffee helps reduce stretch marks.
#2. Almond and Oatmeal Scrub
Mix half a cup each of finely grounded oatmeal and almonds and stir well. Then to apply, take one tablespoon of this scrub and add a few drops of water or essential oil to make a thick paste. Keep this on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing in lukewarm water. For best results, apply it at least four times a week.
#3. Milk and Honey Scrub
Mix 1/3 cup of salt, 1 tablespoon each of honey, olive oil and milk and mix them all to make a paste. Apply it to your face and leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing with water. This will help remove the dead skin from your face and body.

6. Lots Of Zzzzzzzz Time.

During this busy time, you might find it hard to get some shuteye, but you must try to get at least 8 or even 10 hours a day. If you can manage a power nap, go ahead! The lack of sleep will give your dark circles and also make your skin blotchy.
