Wedding planning, we all agree is an uphill task. The couple is always looking out to make this process as easy and smooth as possible. However, there also exist couples like Ashley and James. This Californian couple, 32 years old Ashley Schmeider and 35 years old James Sissom, decided to get married on Mount Everest, figuratively and literally taking on this uphill task. This daring couple, nearly dedicated a year of planning and training for this one of its kind wedding expedition which happened on the 16th March 2017.
After a fierce trek of 3 days, the couple got married in a traditional ceremony at 17,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by the Himalayas. Their unorthodox wedding journey and the breathtaking wedding was captured by wedding photographer Charleton Churchill. The couple had reached out to him through Instagram, last year.
We can only imagine how breathtaking beautiful (and chilly!) it must have been up there, but we surely did manage to get some pictures in order to soothe our eyes!
