Finally, the world got to witness the biggest Indian wedding of the year as Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja. This big fat celebrity wedding of the year saw almost all the A-listers of the film industry in attendance. From the Bachchan family, there were Big-B Amitabh Bachchan along with son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda. Karisma Kapoor came along with daughter Samaira Kapoor, whereas her younger sister Kareena came along with hubby Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. The Glittery Mehendi Night
Just a night before the wedding, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had a big mehendi bash, and looks of all the celebs including the bride and the groom are absolutely drool-worthy. The theme of the ceremony was white and we got amazing fashion cues for a white themed wedding with this bash.
Sonam Kapoor was a vision in white as she wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga at the do. Her outfit had intricate chikankari work on it. In addition, there were tiny detailed sequins, zari, pearls, zardozi work and Swarovski crystals on the lehenga. And guess what? It is because of this intricate details Sonam Kapoor’s lehenga took 18 months to be completed! Check out the masterpiece here:

Sonam had her kalire ceremony the same evening. She wore customised peacock kalire from Mrinalini Chandra label.
The mehendi was applied on the bride’s hands by celebrity mehendi artist, Veena Nagda.
Anand opted for an ivory kurta and jacket by the designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which was accessorized with an emerald brooch.
Janhvi Kapoor wore a pristine white Tarun Tahiliani lehenga with cutwork embroidery. She complemented the outfit beautifully with exquisite jewellery from Khurana Jewellery House.
Khushi Kapoor too chose to wear an elegant white Tarun Tahiliani creation with floral applique work on it.
Rhea Kapoor too looked regal in an elegant white Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla lehenga.
Sonam’s chachi Maheep Kapoor looked ethereal in a Tarun Tahiliani kurta with resham embroidery and sequins. The sharara had mukaish work with borders in gota and crystals.
Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter, Shanaya Kapoor wore a timeless lehenga with cosmic and floral graphics, fringe detailing and sequin embroidery.
